Hi guys , I was wondering if this(bondo) is normal in factory production guitars cause I am refinishing a guitar I bought a few months ago and Brian posted the pics of it here and there is this stuff on it that looks like bondo and is a real pain to sand off. would be greatfull for any answer from pro or master builders here in the forum,you know who you are.

hi Derek, ya this is what Dave and I were talking about.Yes it can replace all your effects and you might want to check out www.tcelectronics.com for the video demo they have there,to get a better look at what you are buying.You can use a midi pedal with it that also can controll the wah that it has and a bunch of other things.I bought mine on ebay,it was only 4 months old and I paid 420€,so ebay might be a cheaper alternative.btw you also need a midiman device to update the software which has been coming quite often lately.Hope this helps you out

I have 1 and they are nice for sanding off paint (saves a lot of time) and smoothing the edge but they loosen up and become unstable if you dont tighten them up after awhile and if you tighten them to much then you get this () sorta of a drum

I agree with Jeremy to a certain point,he uses his tools for a bussiness and has to have good quality otherwise his customers will be asking why he wants xyz amount of money for the work he has done and it looks bad,also I believe he could write that off on his tax return as stuff he needed to keep his shop running. Not every person has the money to buy the higher priced tools and I really think that some ppl with cheapo tools could do a good job(some ppl are wood workers and others are talented in other areas) 3)most important of all...how do i justify the cost to my wife ,hobby expenses are just considered toys (sums up the last 12 years of my life) Wes I feel ya!! I agree, lessons or at least a book with chords and scales so you can come up with your own stuff, copying other ppl´s work will be boring after awhile. As far as the gear you have, for someone starting out sounds good ,all I had was a fender stratocaster no amp or anything else.What equipment is good all depends on the style of music you play,check out the players corner here in the forum lotta nice folks in there and they can give you advice about what you may need.

Hi Jehle, ebay wont do anything about this guy, cause they are making money off what he sells.you might be able to sue ebay for helping him sell copyright material and if you have warned them about the situaion then they are just as much responsible as the that guy. Chances are his profit is long gone so you probably wont get anything but he could get jail time or something like that. It would be a thought to use a login mask for member and if you are not registered than you cant see any part of the site( I found this site because google showed 1 of the threads as a search result) there for noone like that could steal the hard work of the members in the forum and if it happened again then you would know that it came from within our owm ranks. I hope you get this guy and I also hope that Brian reads this or Wes and thinks about that login mask thing to help prevent any further abuse of the site

Hi Derek, I have been able to do this with a harmonizer function on my G-Major effect unit but you can do it with any harmonizer unit (set the delay and the pitch slightly diffferent and there you have it)
