  1. Drinking pot? I guess it's not as bad as shooting grass .
  2. Big list today. Happy birthday all y'all!
  3. Wow, big headstock... leave it like that . I think I pointed you to Jon Tirone's (Fishbake) repair site before. Actually, I'm surprised you didn't cut it closer to shape before glueing... but it does look kinda cool huge like that .
  4. I've found my DiMarzio strap to be quite slippery... good for this. Leather, etc. have too much friction.
  5. This guy made a couple of 14 stringers: http://members.tripod.com/handmadeguitars/

This thread reminded me of a local band ("Six and Violence" around '85) that used to play "Purple Haze" with the words from the "Green Acres" theme... try it, the words fit perfectly!
  7. An F flat? Kinda esoteric, ain't it? I guess you'd use it in the key of C flat .
  8. Hmm... I just re-read you post. I take it you don't know how to read music. The "C" thing is really an "F" thing (including the two dots it looks more like an "F".)
  9. The "C" thing means common time (4/4.) One flat means it's in the key of F (B's are flat.) I don't know what you mean by that? Key of G then Db?
  10. L - I had to check the tag on my shirt . I think XL would be safest to get (if ordering only one size.)

You're gonna make it after all! (Murder/Death/Kill) I'm working on an version of the "Reading Rainbow" theme .
  12. Heh, I forgot I had these tunes were on my computer... from before I joined this forum . Y'all might get a kick out of them. http://www.beatallica.org
  13. Yes, great links! Pin this thread!!!
  14. Along with the monitors, some nice headphones are needed. My old pair of Sony MDR-V6 cans are still going strong even after 10 years of abuse . Let's spend all of westhemann's money!

    "Shredding"

How do you not learn theory with 10 years of playing piano?!?!
  16. Ooooh... aaaaaah! Thanks for the link, GregP!
  17. Look kinda like an I-hole . Ya, I want to see it finished too.
  18. Heh, you could probably hook it up to your truck stereo if there's a line-in Chevy Metal, dude!!! Ah, ok. Would you be voiding Dell's warrenty if you did that?
  19. Oh, good stuff! Heh, my fastest box is 900 Mhz . Did you get the v-amp 2 or the v-amp pro? Edit: Did you get that Delta 44 sound card from Dell? I'm curious if they'd (Dell) have warrenty issues for it.
  20. Good man! Have fun and post some songs .
  21. It might be easiest/best to post what you're trying to accomplish. BTW, I edited my last post with examples.
  22. That link I posted has diagrams including an example of a DPDT in action. Well, DPDTs are really the on-on variety... but when you look around you'll see on-off-on and on-on-on also called DPDTs, they're really DP3T . Using a simple example of a pickup selector for 2 humbuckers, an on-on-on switch would provide the normal operation that your probably used to (bridge-both-neck.) An on-on would be bridge-neck and an on-off-on would be bridge-none-neck.
