Thanks! And congrats on the GOTM! Thanks... the reverse Jackson headstock would look cool with a tele body IMO.Building a body is the way to start it up man!

When I was a teenager my dad used to take me up around Gunnison scouting for Elk and I always brought my ultra light rod. There are tons of little streams around there. You didn't even need bait to catch the little cutthroats, just throw in a bare hook into any part of the stream wider than 5 feet and they be all over it. The salmon in Blue Mesa res are kokanee, we routinely pulled out 10-20lbers trolling. Had a lot of great times up there!

Damn Scott it's looking incredible man.... Have fun in Crested Butte. I lived in Colorado for seven years and spent a lot of time around that area. The Gunnison area has some great Elk and Mule Deer hunting and I spent a lot of time on Blue Mesa trout and salmon fishing... It's some beautiful country up there.

Looks great man, beautiful work!!! As a huge fan of Ibanez RG's, It's kind of weird seeing the HSH configuration on an LP shape

I can't see the staples marks either... I like the headstock too, but I think I like it better reversed though...

Oh wow... I've wrapped guitars with bubble wrap inside the case before without any problems, but never packing peanuts. You try to go the extra mile to get the axe home safe and see what happens

Not those big buffing wheels... these ones. Using straight up pressure they work very well...

Life is too short to force yourself to do things that make you miserable. If there's somehting else you'd rather be persuing, then go for it You do make beautiful guitars though. Maybe if you weren't doing it to try to make a living, you'd be able to do it a bit for fun...

Thanks Scott, I really like the look of the rosewood too. I even have a little of it left over for another body The wetsanding and buffing went fairly well this time! I got the idea to put the pads on my drill press instead of using the cordless... Whoa man did that work 1000% better. I had a lot more control over the process, and it was able to generate enough heat to buff out all the sanding scratches no problem... It's not a 100% perfect factory finish, but it's damn close

I can't wait to play this one! The nitro is cured enough to start assembly tonight. I just did the last coat of Tru-Oil on the neck so maybe tomorrow I'll be able to finish her up...
