  2. ply aint too bad, its more wood than glue! my brother sawed the bottom horn of his guitar for a laugh and it was ply as i suspected!
  3. routers are very useful but scary. i vote hands!

  5. he didnt have anything called lighting when he took those photos!! its a cool guitar, but my 320 is waay cooler, hehehee! i wouldnt part with my 320! the lavandar colour is good in good lighting!

  9. i said jeff beck, he is pretty cool, did some quite inspiritional stuff for the 60's! im waaay to young to have seen him, im 16! but i saw him on tv a few times and he still rocks!
  10. the fret wood doesnt have to bee very hard, as maple is quite soft compared to some wood, however there is a certain toughness required i imigine, and perhaps density also.... mike

  12. ive seen jacksons with the tuners on the body, 6 of the tuners, behind the bridge
  13. i used to play very very low, i had my strap full out, and string on the end to lower it!! i made a thing which i called the hetfieldizer, which just put the guitar soo low i could hit my knees with it!! i learnt from my mistake, now its very, very high up!!! sooo much better for playing!

  19. lmao what is the tone setting on the amp etc... you can really kill the wah effect by cutting mids and treble, otherwise it might be bust and stuck in bypass or something mike

  21. id disagree with the point that EMG's sound fake, but i understand they dont float your boat so id recommend a PAF perhaps LACE's would be good. i donno, but perhaps try cool rails... mike

  23. dave - i (for school project) am making a portable pre-amp, and wanted an extended capacity, and rechargable, so i have a battery for you to check out.... these are Nickel Metal Hydride, rechargable, good batts. the 9V PP3 type are about 150mAh where as the ones i found called 2/3AA are 700mAh AAA are 750mAh and AA are around 2000mAh. the 2/3 AA batts have the same diameter as the AA but are shorter, and more compact, so check these! cya mike
