Maiden69
one bottle of each, go to stew mac figure out the price plus shipping then add the shipping to Canada and see if it is OK, I know that Lee Valley got stores or sell over there, http://www.leevalley.com/wood/page.aspx?c=...,190,42996&ap=1 they got green and lback, it is not like the one that Stew sells, but it will work. And if you go to my thread I posted the steps that Myka gave me, also by doing a search you will come up to Perrys and Draks take on stainning too. Neon_Knightmare
Holy crap, Matt. That frickin' ROCKS. You should get a job at B.C. Rich Speaking of, I guess Neal Moser, designer of the Rich Bich, is up to no good again... A British website I get my decals from is selling his latest offering, the "Bastard V" -- check it out. Hehe. http://www.gsrguitars.co.uk/moser.htm That thing looks like it hurts.

x189player
which leads me to a question I've been wondering- is there any difference between the dyes used for guitar finishes, and the fabric dyes used for tie-dying, such as procion and other high-end jaquard stuff? Daniel Sorbera
it almost looks like a shield. It would SO rock it you carved the top to look more like a shield and painted it to look like a shield. Just something diffrent. you could make it look kinda chain link with some blood or something. Just something to think about...
mledbetter
You could set in dome head bolts all the way around the perimeter to look like rivits.. Get someone who's good at faux painting and make the surface look like battle worn metal. that would rock.. oh i forgot you're using quilted maple.. I think people can go to jail for ruining a pretty piece of wood like that.. please disregard The other would be cool though.. just make you another one out of poplar or something paintworthy.. I realized Sheldon Dingwall runs his shop up in saskatoon.. you may know of him already, i don't know.. but a friend of mine has two of his basses, says he is a super nice guy.. He might be able to help you if you have any more trouble sourcing parts or supplies.. just a thought. www.dingwall.com -m
