I Got Some New Maple!

Recommended Posts

one bottle of each, go to stew mac figure out the price plus shipping then add the shipping to Canada and see if it is OK, I know that Lee Valley got stores or sell over there, http://www.leevalley.com/wood/page.aspx?c=...,190,42996&ap=1

they got green and lback, it is not like the one that Stew sells, but it will work. And if you go to my thread I posted the steps that Myka gave me, also by doing a search you will come up to Perrys and Draks take on stainning too.

Holy crap, Matt. That frickin' ROCKS. You should get a job at B.C. Rich :D

Speaking of, I guess Neal Moser, designer of the Rich Bich, is up to no good again... A British website I get my decals from is selling his latest offering, the "Bastard V" -- check it out. Hehe.

http://www.gsrguitars.co.uk/moser.htm

That thing looks like it hurts.

But the best Bastard V is the Hand Made Model I love to see the natural wood with his work It just reminds me of the earlyer 70's B.C Rich guitars, but I hate the headstock :D

You could set in dome head bolts all the way around the perimeter to look like rivits.. Get someone who's good at faux painting and make the surface look like battle worn metal. that would rock..

oh i forgot you're using quilted maple.. I think people can go to jail for ruining a pretty piece of wood like that.. please disregard :D The other would be cool though.. just make you another one out of poplar or something paintworthy..

Hey Matt.. I remember in another post you having trouble finding dyes and stuff up there.. aside from that store.. I realized Sheldon Dingwall runs his shop up in saskatoon.. you may know of him already, i don't know.. but a friend of mine has two of his basses, says he is a super nice guy.. He might be able to help you if you have any more trouble sourcing parts or supplies.. just a thought. www.dingwall.com

Ya Well I have tryed working with dingwall in the past but he never really has much time so geting any info from him is like pulling teeth so I just leave him alone B)

I really found Glenn McDougall to be alot more helpful In fact my friend that owns the shop that I work in is good friend's with Glenn so I guess that would help to Hay :Dhttp://www.furyguitar.com/ He has been building since 1962!!

Metal Matt you are my one of my top favorite builders here. You seriously have to start working for B.C. Rich or ESP or somebody........

But this design is looking hot as possible. I think the headstock fits, keep the pictures coming.

MAN I would love to do something like that but I have no idea how I would go about geting a job something like that :D Ya know I think I almost have more fun comeing up with new designs than I do building them ALMOST B)

and thanks man Iam glade you like it! :D
