krazyderek
you might try buying a sheet at your local harware store, in the glass/ plexiglass ile, but i the thickest i've seen it around here is 1/2 inch..

kpnutz52
is it really possible to make your own acrylic guitar? i meantheir not made with molds? can clouded acrylic be sanded and smooth crystal clear again?
Scott Rosenberger
yeah you just treat the acrylic just like paint an d keep sanding with finer and finer grits until you get to about 3000 then polish, just be prepared, the scratches are alot harder to remove from plexi than paint
weezerboy
i've found in the past when making small objects out of acylic that if you just rough up the surface with sand paper and buff for ages then it becomes perfect. of course you need a buffing machine to do this because you need quite a lot of pressure. Brian
That's what happens with supply vs demand all the supply no demand I figure, either that or they need to pay for some really expensive molds
