5150rocker
This is the first refinish I've done.Since this photo has been taken I have striped the head. The body is???,I had it laying around and decided to play around one day.The neck and electronics are cheap Behringer. The funny thing about them though is I found a smashed Behringer on the streets of San Fransisco where I was working. They were good to go so I used them, the body was completely trashed. The pickguard is also painted. The thing sound fair and plats nicely.Any way you guys are the experts, what do you think??? Lietuvis
That looks sick, man! (except for the headstock with the Behringer logo... )
n8rofwyo
Wow, you literally found a "trashed" guitar and turned it into that? That kicks ass - it looks sweet too! Nate Robinson
GuitarMaestro
Hey that looks awesome....especially because the guitar was trashed. How good the finish really is, is impossible to judge by this picture though....

Nitefly SA
i think you could have made the headstock into a banana type shape and made it look even better, but the finish looks fantastic

guitar2005
im just that good I used microsoft picture it,colormatched the background and trimmed away the headstock ← Yuck! I prefer the way it is now. Awesome job! I'm in the process of building one from scratch. I've got some nice maple/walnut for a skunk stripe neck and some birdseye for the fretboard. bombershredder
I've been wanting to build a Van halen guitar to play some Van Halen on. It'd be cooler with a floating trem and black hardware.
TenderSurrender
Big fan of Van Halen, and im also a big fan of this guitar Looks like a real good job, only gripe, and thats not to the finish but more a personal thing... Have you conisdered putting a floating bridge in, I dont know why i can just see it looking really nice... Either way great work dude ~~ TS ~~
Daniel Sorbera
A floating bridge and a painted fingerboard would IMO make this guitar perfect.
