What sort of wires should i be buying/looking at to wire up a guitar? The only thing on ebay i could find was http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BEST-Shielded-Wire-F...1QQcmdZViewItem

which seems expensive, especially as i remember reading shielded internal wire does little. There must be a trade name of the sort of wire to get, which i havent picked up on. In addition if someone could suggest a reputable supplier in the UK i would be grateful. Thanks

Let's see, £10 per meter... that's... umm... about $5 a foot ?!?!. That's very expensive. Don't get ripped off. Belden mic cable is cheaper and works great.

I think you forget that we pay a lot more VAT on our products. You will do well to beat that price.

Walk away quickly, without looking back! :D Despite a marketing blitz that says different, silver plating has never been shown to make any changes in the sound of good cable, either empirically or in double-blind tests. Try Maplin's VU35Q or XS24B - either should work very well, and at 90% less than the price of this anti-werewolf wire! :D
