lovekraft Posted November 9, 2003 Report Share Posted November 9, 2003 I think what Weezer's trying to say is that American "English" is closer to it's Germanic/Anglo-Saxon roots, while the Queen's English retains the influence of the Norman Conquest in it's French-inspired flourishes (hence; catalogue, colour, etc.). Oh, and my favs ( that's short for favourites) are saphire blue and cherry red.
