Nekro/Dean
Hello everybody on projectguitar. My name is Dean or Nekro if you prefer. I am from the UK, the North West of England to be a bit more precise and lived here all of my life . I am 26 years old and a single father of two and my children reside with me. I admit i am rather useless on the internet and am slowly learning but i manage to get by (So please do not think i am being rude if i do not reply or post loads as i would love too but can not always find the time and my interwebz skills fail me ). Anyway besides all of the above my job is audio engineering, however the old six-string has been and always will be my main passion along with metal and most of metal's sub-genres (for want of a better word!). I am really looking forward to meeting and chatting to all of you on the forums and thank you for taking the time to read this message. Best regards, take care and take it easy Dean/Nekro Quote Link to comment

bluesy
Talking about Tea, im a tetley's man myself, twinnings everday comes a close second. Dont really dig PG Tips (too strong for me ha ha ha) Dean As an Aussie I still like the old "Billy Tea", but Twinings is great for the fancier stuff. I'm a bit of a fan of their Earl Grey tea actually as well. Oh, and welcome Quote Link to comment
Nekro/Dean
Hello nice to meet you Prostheta, must say i have never had the pleasure of visting Lincoln and greetings bluesy mate from miles away man its good to meet you. Now Earl Grey - i tell you the first time i tasted that stuff it was at a friend's house and we used to mess around by lacing each others drinks with salt oppose to sugar and pepper too plus numerous other powdered stuff LOL anyway when i got my first cup of Earl Grey i took a big gulp and then accused the brew maker of spiking it with washing up liquid! lmfao until i was informed it was meant to taste that way , Coffee was/is good was peppering as the strong aroma of pepper was/is easily masked. I do not recommend anyone takes up the sport of brew lacing (im talking back in my teenage years!), but it is i must admit all about the reaction and look on the victim's face. If you do decide to go for it i recommend only lacing one cup out of say four as a whole tray of bad brews is much too obvious, band practice is a good time to strike when one can easily work up a thrist What has the above got to do with the mighty guitar? nothing at all im afraid, but it can brighten up a dull day and aid in creating some great banter Will join in the discussions regarding guitars/amps/pedals/pickups/plectrums/strings ASAP and looking forward to it Cheers guys Dean (ex-brew assasinator) Quote Link to comment

Bmth Builder
Hey, south coast of the UK here, you northern monkeys I have PG tips in my house. Quote Link to comment
Nekro/Dean
I would never commit crimes against alchoholic beverages guys, the crimes were commited 10+ years ago in my youth with Tea and/or Coffee the only targets. I can not comment on the drink though as i packed it in over 5 years ago. I have no problems with it and go out regular to shows/gigs/pubs with friends and work so im no preacher man or Xstraight edgeX stiff . I can not give up the smoking though (In both regular and "medicinal" flavours) as a man needs at least one or two vice's in life IMO. Gear: Jackson, ESP, Maverick, Ibanez & Yamaha Electric Guitars, Marshall, Peavey, Vox, Blackstar, Epiphone & Roland Amplifiers, Marshall, Mesa Boogie & DIY Speaker Cabinets, Celestion Speakers, Boss, Ibanez, Maxon, Guyatone, Line 6, Digitech, DOD, Dunlop, MXR, Morley, ISP Technologies, ART, BBE Sound, Marshall & Roger Linn Pedals/Rack Mount Processors, EMG, Bare Knuckle & Seymour Duncan Pickups, Dunlop Plectrums, D'Addario XL & GHS Boomers Strings, Planet Waves & George L's Cable and other bits and pieces including a ton of Audio Software, Audio & MIDI Interfaces, Microphone Pre-Amps And Microphones...Etc If i need to be banned thats cool, im an easy going bloke and im sorry if i offended anyone Take it easy Nekro Quote Link to comment
Rick500
They were just joking about the banning thing. Quote Link to comment

Bmth Builder
I smoke at a party or something occasionally but after it nearly got the better of me I'm against doing it on a regular basis, its f**ked up a lot of people I know Quote Link to comment
joshvegas
Tried it a few times when I was younger but I quickly realised Its a bit boring Quote Link to comment
WezV
and you never get anything done! Quote Link to comment
ToneMonkey
Hiya Dean from another brit Down in the countryside, just far enough away from Leicester here. Drinking tea and having a medicinal ciggy My mates a single parent, looking after two kids and my hat goes off to you mate. Not an easy thing to do. Sounds like you'll like it round here, but I bet you start laying in bed thinking about how to make big piles of sawdust soon. It's bound to happen if you're around here for too long. I haven't been to Manchester for ages, last time I went I ended up in ©**** (S)treet for a few pints which was quite good fun (I'm starght BTW ). See you around the boards. EDIT: mmmmm, interesting editing by the filter there, that was supposed to say "Canal Street". It's the main gay area in Manchester and somone has painted the C and the S white so it now says "an*l treet" which I found highly amusing. soapbarstrat
and you never get anything done! Well, maybe good reason why. Rick Turner once said he knew a few (or a lot- I don't remember) guys missing fingers and such from power tool accidents. I then asked him if he knew the particular reason why those accidents happened, and his reply was : " they had a joint for lunch". Quote Link to comment
joshvegas
they had a joint the the power tool removed said joint.... Quote Link to comment
Kenny
i think if your intelligent enough (or lack that intelligence) to consume ANY substance, even if its cough syrup that impares any of your senses even slightly, then choose to work with power tools designed to cut dense materials into smaller pieces; you deserve whats coming to you that is unless you own a saw stop; then you can smoke 2 but seriously...its a bad idea Quote Link to comment
