I screwed the top to the bottom through the pickup and neck waste areas and used the bottom as my router template for the top. I want the edges very clean so I can route a binding channel before I set the neck and glue the top and bottom together. And yes I will use them to aid the gluing. He still has quite a bit of work left to carve out the back, but here are some shots of the neck joint and the back as it currently exists: And here is a shot of the front as he begins the sculpting...pretty rough now, but will look sweet in a few days!
