Transparent Aerosol

I was thinking for the carriburst competition i would use a see through paint or something thats tinted. do these come in aerosol i believe it was mentioned somewhere in this forum.

TRANSLUCENTS THATS THE NAME are there any translucent aerosols? because i dont have a spray gun or a compressor.

not that i know of.but you can use water based stains to color the wood and clear over it.

yeah that was my original intention but I was kind of inspired by the "fanned" edges tutorial and wanted to incorporate something like that into my design.

Here ya go, Nordic, House of Kolor Kandy in rattlecans. They also carry Adhereto adhesion promoter and SG100 topcoat clear in aerosols. And of course, Guitar Reranch carries a blue dye aerosol. Good luck

There's the diplicolor stuff yuo can get at wallyworld for like $4 a can. Dont get the base coat tho.

the metal cast stuff is not what im talkin bout. used to be a real fav. paint of mine back in the moddin dayz. (personal favorite was the mirage)

you asked for tranparent clear rettlecan. The base coat is the silver crap. The topcoaats are tinted clear.

Never seen a good burst finish done using a rattle can. Might look good from the other side of the room, but up close they look crap.

This was done with a rattle can. I found out with light sanding I could blend the burst pretty good.
