Svee Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 Hi all. Been a while since ive been on here so i thought i would show you guys what ive been working on recently. First off, i have an old Les Paul replica that i airbrushed a portrait of Freddy Krueger onto back when i was still learning the art of airbrushing. I was never really happy with it but i heard that Robert Englund was coming to the UK for a convention so i got this guitar out again and made a better job of it... Then got it signed... If you are interested, heres a couple of videos i made on the process... Freddy LP Part 1 Freddy LP Part 2 Ive also been doing one of these... One of these... A nice easy one of these... and im just putting the finishing touches to this... I really must try to be more active on here. I totally love looking through the threads on this forum Quote
dpm99 Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 Oh man, that's really cool! I mean, all your airbrushing stuff is great, but I love the Freddy Krueger guitar. What did Robert Englund say about it? Did he like it? Quote
Svee Posted September 27, 2011 Author Report Posted September 27, 2011 Thanks mate. Yeah Robert Englund loved it. He said it was "Be-yooooootiful". Mind you he would wouldnt he, its got his face on it lol Quote
westhemann Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 Too cool...I watched the remake of NOES and I just did not like the "new" take on Freddy..honestly he was better as a psycho killer than as a child rapist You know, you are supposed to be able to think the killer in a horror movie is a little "cool"..not just a dirty pedo Quote
demonx Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 Ummm... THATS AWESOME!!!! Nice airbrushing, I'm envious - on top of that you got the mans signature on it! I'm off to watch the videos now Quote
demonx Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 Just watched your vid's - great stuff. Love your lettering. You must have been so freakin proud when he was holding it and signed it - hope you've clear coated the sig! Quote
Dadovfor Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 ... hope you've clear coated the sig! I wondered the same thing ... are you going to bury it under some clear? Great work, by the way! Quote
ae3 Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 Hahahahahahaha toggle switch nipple Quote
Svee Posted September 29, 2011 Author Report Posted September 29, 2011 Hahahahahahaha toggle switch nipple lol yeah slight over-sight on my part there hehe. That guitar is a give-away in a competition a friend of mine is running. I have cleared over Robert Englunds sig yeah. Its nicely protected under 4 coats of 2K shiny stuff now. Also buffed it up to a nice glossy finish too. Its satin in the pics because i sanded the existing clear with 1200 paper prior to him signing it. That way he could sign it and i could just de-grease and clear again with no hassles or possible damage to the sig Quote
