iluvteles
I'm at that stage when I'm thinking about what I can build for 2012. I'm thinking of doing a 24 fret strat with gold plated EMG 81/85 pickups, fixed bridge. I'm at the stage of putting wood combinations together and came across these Cocobolo bookmatched drop tops that I've had in stock for over a year and its a shame not to put good wood to a good use. . The trouble is which one? I think number 4 is the leader but have decided to canvas the opinions of Project Guitar members. So here goes tops 1 to 4. dpm99
#4 is an owl. #3 is an evil wizard. He has one eyebrow raised because he wants to know why you've come. #2 has 2 Miyazaki style ghosts poking their heads out of holes. #1 is boobs. You like the owl, huh? Go with the owl then. They're all good.
ScottR
I'm leaning towards #3, but David is right: they're all good. SR

Ripthorn
I think it depends on if you are going to have a pickguard. If so, I would go #3 or #1, so as not to cover up the cool features.
iluvteles
There wont be any pickgaurd. It would be a crime to cover such good wood. No 3 is in the lead then
dpm99
What if you had a pickguard with some hot model positioned so that the burl would actually look like her boobs? Sorry, it's one of those days...

iluvteles
No need to be sorry. Boobs and guitars go very well together
Mattia
No need to be sorry. Boobs and guitars go very well together Most things are improved by boobs. Except dudes. Dudes just look wrong with boobs.

nowa90
I'd go with #2, just because I like contrasting stripes in the body, making them look like a neck thru
