Snork Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 lol My guitar is almost done! the neck is almost completly shaped. the bodies need a good sanding. i need to inlay and fret. Plus routing a wiring. and the total weight is..... 15.6 pounds! OOOOO MAH GAWD! this is either going to break my back or be a total sustain love box. either way... im going to break my back... I'm going to need to get a HUGE strap. Quote
Snork Posted February 1, 2004 Author Report Posted February 1, 2004 no i WILL not chamber it if that is your suggestion drak! I wont even need sustainer! this thing coupled with the deep tenon neck will have so much sustain i can pluck a string and go away for a couple hours and come back and it will still be ringing! many laughs, Sam Fisher JK drak i take all of your suggestions deeply and use most of them Quote
guitar_ed Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 Hey Snork, Maybe it is time to start doing those situps you (and I) have been avoiding all these years. Guitar Ed Quote
Drak Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 It's all part of learning. No one turns out Grade-A material overnight. I've built a boat anchor or two myself. Don't play 'em much, but I learned a few things along the way, and that's always good. Can't wait to see it! Quote

Ace Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 I suggest you mount a telescope leg under it so that you can put the weight on that when you're not jumping around on stage. And I'd advise you not to do the guitar sling behind your back because if you're not standing stable you'll probably catapult yourself into your amp Can't wait to see and hear the finished thing man. You're really making us proud. so long ace Quote
