    Here are some up to dat pictures of my jackson inspired first guitar. Specs: 24 frets, 25 1/2" scale,maple body, maple nack with ebony finger board,all parts liscence floyd and schaller tuners. just fitted together neck fretted body headstock pickups ok these pictures look like total crap. hmmm i need to learn to hold a camera still and resize them properly.     yeah i think it is escaped mental patient. He also called his peavey amps that and I think EVH also named an album 5150 too.

    zakk wylde does the same thing with his tailpiece, it is supposed to reduce breakage (thats what i heard) when you play behind the bridgey ou can hear the strings louder. i think that made sense.

    I like the shape a lot, it has a cool vibe to it some thing slightly different. one commert though, is the neck in the bottom photo where you intend to put as it looks off centre a bit. other than that i think it will be great

    http://www.luthierssupplies.co.uk thats divid dykes website he has a lot of wood and a fairly decent amount of other things and offers pre cut finger boards http://www.wdmusicproducts.co.uk is mainly hardware pickguards and kent armstrong pickups but they have some pre made necks and bodys. the choice of bodies and necks is mainly around the fender family http://www.touchstonetonewoods.co.uk/ I personally think that items from here are pretty expensive.
