  1. Thread locked. Question answered. Please run searches in the future, there are many topics on body templates.
  2. Yea, if you can just build her a new bod, do it. Better in the long run, the wammy effect you speak of will only worsen, it is a sign of a wak joint
  3. Run a search please. We have numerous topics on this and most have links to a place in detroit that makes them.
  4. I guess I wont be buying that book. First off the SGs with no neck angle are rare. Mainly because they tend to break. Seen a few myself. The Vs without an angle had kahlers, not the reissues. The kahlers were an 80s thing. Thirdly, either choose a design without a TOM (ie, flatmount hipshot), or angle the neck, or recess the tom like Wes suggested.
  5. I have a ryobi router and she is fine. They also make craftsman and own Rigid.
  6. Possibly, I know the concept, but not the procedure, hence I reccomended reading the tut.
  7. doubtful, cuz they'd have to take mighty mite, SD, gibson, and nearly every other manufacturer on too.
  8. You can also use a 200k resistor on a 500k pot, modifying the tut on the main site.
  9. Check Ebay. They are really a vinyl sticker
  10. Thing is, Gibson had made creams before, along with black and zebra. They just hid them under a PAF cover. Original PAFs came in chrome or gold, but under the cover could be any combo of the three. They weren't careful about what color the bobbins were.
  11. Just because I am a mod, doesnt mean Jack. There are more mods here than just me, not to mention the admins. So with that said, who cares? I dont go around closing threads. If a thread becomes nothing but flaming, I'll close it. Other than that, this is fine. Express opinions here
  12. Nobody has a patent on double creams
  13. hosting avatars on outsides sites might help. ???
  14. I know Vai has the same setup, so it is possible. But no clue how to.
  15. My Advice: Wait until next year when the flush mount floud comes out. No modifications required. We just had a thread on that very bridge. http://projectguitar.ibforums.com/index.php?showtopic=10371
  16. Everything was marked right, but I missed the line proceeded by a string of explestives on how it looked.
  17. No I ean the drill press. I made the boo boo. I also put the guitar together before all the finishing was done to make sure it was all set for go. I'd hate to have to redo the finish AFTER I was completely done.
  18. Just because you dont see what I say (it's in the mods section) doesn't mean I dont still have the same opinions. We will reach a happy medium here.
  19. Nice pic Ikke. I think that one doesn't look loved enough. Gotta have the intonation screw marks, palyed in look (ie pick screaches), ciggi burns, ect. And all done with neticulous accuracy.
  20. If you dont want to listen, that's your deal. If you want to learn, buy a cheap teashed set neck and learn. Dont stuff up tour buddies axe.
  21. As brian said, until further notice, there will be no fast reply available. Thread closed before the chance is given to debate. That will only escelate matters
