OMG that guitar is f**king beautiful!!! One of the nicest finishes I've ever seen! and the trouble he went to as well with the cavity covers? (although he should have stained them as well, that would have been cool) btw I cant help you I just think that builds amazing!

All the cavities will loose weight. You could do like a top and back carve which would take off some more weight.

are the frets parrallel to each other?

Its unfinished at the moment and its the heal so it wont be seen, I just wanted to fill it up to it doesnt let moisture in and get worse or anything. I was going to start a thead about filling wenge pores, I dont really know whether to just build up the clear lacquer over them, or to fill them with something transparent first, like CA.

Use your normal method Truss rod slot then ears, then the veneer, and then you can drill through the veneer into the access slot that is alread routed into the headstock, and sand the veneer flush to the side of the TR access slot.

The best way to use photos on a forum IMO is to upload them via photobucket and use their auto reduction facility, select the auto reduction facility to 640 x 480 and then upload all your pics in one go so they are already the correct size when you link to them in a thread.

Nuts are parallel to the frets and perpendicular to the strings. Bridges are angled back to allow for more intonation room for the bass strings all the saddles start at exactly the scale length, and then you intonate them, moving them backwards.

erik on here does it that way Personally I dont like the idea, because if you do get a back bow then glueing it into the correct position is going to be harder.

Wizard necks are about 1/2" thick so it will probably be fine, especially laminated.

What gauge strings are on it? If they are the gauge you use most, then screw in the trem claw to bring the bridge down to your desired level, if they are lighter than you use, and you plan to put heavy strings on it, you might need to add another spring to the claw/trem.

Yeah the amp pretty much negates the point of it, didnt think of that (I spend most of my time playing an electric guitar unplugged).

Hey Daniel I was wondering, would a 'player sound hole' be beneficial on a semi hollow electric guitar? Like a tele thin line or a arch top or something, anything with traditional f holes I imagine it would give the same benifits as on your acoustic?

Hey I was just wondering how much further back you would put the bass side of the TOM than the treble side of the TOM to allow for enough intonation room for a low B? Cheers

+ 1 my family always say 'oh your not painting that lovely peice of mahogany are you' plain mahogany is like the beige of tonewood IMO other than some ribbon and quilted sapele, theres so much better out there.
