    from what im understanding your worried about the piviot point on the micro tilt causing the neck to tilt at a angle rather than straight back. to be honest i havent ever seen a contoured heal with a micro tilt so i dont know what would happen i would think yoiu would be ok since your not tilting the neck back but a fraction of a degree but i could be wrong.

    wow i just did the exchange 1 euro is about 1.32 right now, thats $2644 for a one piece guitar thats a hell of a deal. Lobo just consider that your gonna pay that much or more for a custom shop gibson or fender i think thats cheap.

    well the neck is gonna be hard to figure out but the neck pocket might have some hints under that paint i would work on getting it out without destroying the logo or what ever. good luck.

    ok just got home and looked at the pics agian. the body isnt fender the finish is way off not near what fender would put on there and even if it had been refinished the routing is way too sloppy. after a little google search im sure the neck would have some markings on it some where especialy the heal area it would have a date or some other markings plus a serial number some where on the neck. sorry dude but im sure its not the real deal i hope you don't have too much invested. on the bright side you have a strat and well STRATS RULE! so put it back together and enjoy it.

    Every fender neck i have messed with had markings on the heal, and the area behind the nut doesnt look right too me

    Good luck btw build them a couple of bodies for the other necks and tell them to stop the swaping bs.

    sounds like its possessed you should take it down to the church and have it exercised. either that of find out what kind of music the deamon in it likes and just use it to play that.

    i agree 50 is too much. if 10 isnt enough you could put a 30day wait for voting. that way it would make it even harder to pull off a sham vote.

    Pm ansil he may be of help on this. I wouldnt worry about 250k pots with the emgs ansil taught me a trick about actives if you put a large pot they will scream. I swapped out the 25ks with 250ks on a strat with a kfk set then ran it at 18v that thing is insane. I have to turn the guitar volume down with the boost off just ro get cleans. Trust me Ansil is the man when it comes to crazy wiring

    sounds like a lot of work just to save the top on a guitar.

    make your neck blank extra long cut a off and use it in the center of your body then you can make a bolt on neck and you will have the impression of a neck through with a bolt on neck. i dont knwo if that makes any sence at all

    You can also buy a brass screw. Then screw it inti the cavity and then ground everything to it

    I would think bending the frets by hand would be insanely difficult. You would either need to aneal the frets or bend them hot then temper them and they would probably warp during the tempering.

    Its only illegal if you do it then sell it. You would be perfectly in your rights to make one for yourself.

    well their site does say they sell replacement frets maybe you could just buy a set and go frome there.

    if you look to the left side of the pic at the back piece you can see on the edge a hair line where two boards are seperating. it also looks like the laminate is gone on that back piece atleast in the photo and thats wood for sure. im gonna go with solid wood with a thin laminate.

    ok poplar makes some since now it would make a good base to put a laminat over.

    i am no expert and will probably get shot down for this but it almost looks like poplar. does it have a laminate on the finished side?
