  1. That is so unbelievably cool Mr. French. You gonna do a production run of these as well? I'd think headless, reclaimed wood guitars would be pretty sweet.
  2. That wood is literally making my mouth water. It's... so... beautiful...
  3. It looks pretty sick either way big dog.
  4. Can I buy the finished scraps? Lol. The magnet thing is awesome. The trc on my stinnett is held like that. Screws are so 20th century.
  5. Or just inlay a lighter outline around the inlay into a darker wood. I would think putting an inlay in another inlay would be too inception-ish...
  6. I sure hope my kids want to do cool **** like this with me in a few years. And the craftsmanship is top-notch.
  7. That is pure magic as is, but I would've put a curly maple pickguard stained to match the hardware. But I like funky.
  8. My designs were done on a sketch pad with Crayola colored pencils then painstakingly recreated in MS Paint and then again painstakingly recreated in inkscape in full size vector format and smoothed out. I think I would rather do it all by hand than learn to use a cnc. That sounds like college material to me. Good luck on the rest of this build.
  9. Mother of god. That's beautiful for a flat guitar.
  10. BS. Cows love metal. That's why they have horns \m/
  11. Johnny, nothing special, just put a bit on at a time & rub it in circular motion inwards to try to blend it That's what she said. Giggity.
  12. Wanna make one for my kids? Lol. My 5 year old son has a bit of trouble with his Epoch LP cause its huge.
  13. I love that last set sooo much its ridiculous.
  14. That wood is too cool. Especially at the tail end where it sweeps off on both sides. Why bind something so awesome? Lol.
  15. That what I'm talking about. Thanks for the input. Actually on the first one, in the vector program full scale, the top horn is ¼ longer than the bottom, and on both of the first ones the horns are about an inch narrower than the bodies width. I guess they look funky because I had to copy and paste them into ms paint and shrink them, then trace over them so the lines would be visible. They look much better full scale. Number 4 down there was just something ridiculous that sprung up in my head. Hot Texas air and all. As for the headstock, I knew I'd seen one similar. Ill have to look it up to make sure I'm not copying it too closely. Too hard to be original and tasteful these days.
