  1. Here's some builds I have on the go at the moment. The first is a Monroe custom spec for the customer as is the second which is a jag meets a LP type thing ,and the third is a Cairbre that I'll build as I go and see what happens . Monroe Timber choice for this is sapele with a spalted beech cap rosewood fingerboard and maple and walnut veneers.

  6. A few coats of shellac. Conductive shielding paint. And all done ,A few more coats of shellac then some wax a set of Mad House homewrecker pickups ,grover tuners wilkinson bridge and cts pots. And woo pe f n do , sorted...
  7. Glue up the body. And start the carving . It's times like these I wish I'd remember to take more pics.
  8. Then for the back I used sapele and chambered it out , cause is going to be a heavy one . Sapele and maple neck .
  9. Hi guys ,This is a guitar I built awile back and it was suggested by a fello PG,er that I share with yez. So if it's ok with you guys I'll stick up a few pics over the next few days. Cheere Marty. So like all good stories this on started of with a great big hole . When trying to get as many cap out of a slab of yew and avoiding the hole and knot in the middle of the board the wife suggested that I make a feature out of it ,so after breaking my arse laughing at such a ridiculous Idea......well ya can see what happen next. Yum....Humble Pie...

  11. Cheers Scott the mini switch is for the P-rail in the neck it allows you to switch between single coil ,P90 and humbucker . And ya yer right buddy I think I should post a bit more of my work maybe I'm a little to shy ...lol

  15. Ya that's beautiful man ,but that burl is just amazing.....I've a soft spot for burl . Great work very clean looking forward to seeing them finished .
