  1. im not an expert by any means but i think between the pressure used to get the frets in and the glue holding them in the fret slots being a tad deep wouldn't matter at all.
  2. everything but bad swear words can be said here, the only topics we are told to try to stay away from are religion and politics, also dont insult eachother on purpose. now that that is cleared up, On the main site there are a few painting tutorials I think will be very useful to you. If at all possible could you post a picture? you can say the brand name as well, if you wish.
  3. i like ben's idea, if its just glass wont you just be looking at the fretboard/glue thats holding it in? not too appealing
  4. if you think it will improve your playing i say go for it
  5. No. I don't mind playing sports but i could never commit to a team, i don't watch them either, watching sports seems like a waste of time to me.
  6. yeah, they used it to carve the neck in the "how to build a strat" tutorial

  11. any case ive ever heard of of a bit coming loose or breaking it just falls out (spining of course) if its a new bit, ,good if its not you may want to buy a new one just s a precaution, make sure you put it in far enough aswell, if its out too far the likelyhood of it coming out is much greater.
  12. Jehle, i'll be cleaning my room soon and i will no doubt find some balls, you want em or you had your fill?
  13. the V will have a flat suface, right? if it does you could get a sheet or reflective plastic that reflects just like mirror and cover the whole body as DuffBeerMan has: whole thread: http://projectguitar.ibforums.com/index.ph...topic=14169&hl= pic:
  14. Ben is confused... I'd guess WOD stands for weapon of destruction (since its like WOMD with no M )... So what, you destroyed it because you werent happy with it? I hope not, that would be a shameful waste. You should have just given it to me. (presuming you did destroy it...) I already tried that Ben, already tried..... http://projectguitar.ibforums.com/index.ph...stroying+bodies
  15. i think it was cool for steinberger because they had nowhere else to put it, on zachary's i like that is burnt in but yea the headstock "Z" would be fine by itself.
  16. look at the serial number, find out what year a lawsuit was filed against them, if the serial number preceeds the lawsuit sell it as "pre-lawsuit" if it falls after the lawsuit sell it as "lawsuit era"
  17. i see people who put the battery in the trem cavitty that have 2 springs on one side of the battery and one on the other, but the spring tension isnt divided evenly as it should be.
  18. you should at least scuff the boddy before painting it, so thet the paint wil have something to cling to otherwise it could just get nocked off
  19. also, why does the wood need to be smooth if you apply a hammered finish anyway?
  20. sorry about the toilet seat comment, it wasn't my intention to insult you im just not a fan of those type of shapes, like the vox teardrop
  21. Ben, if he took out the cut aways then it would look exactly like a toilet seat as opposed to kind of like one
  22. perry isn't a mod anymore i dont think, so he wont ban you, and "@ss" or the real word are neither reason to be banned i think he just was upset and over reacted, this IS a great forum with lots of free knowledge ready for absorbtion.
