    hey again, while complaining to ebay i noticed that this guy has other sales. i saw halfpipe plans, did a search for halfpipe plans and the identical ones are being given away at www.humdog.com. sound familiar? i've e-mailed the webmaster for said site and am waiting for a reply...i'll keep you posted. dan

    i'd say find somewhere (on the mainland would make sense) and try it out..but thats probably why you're asking us... but i think for a first gig you could try renting a PA from somewhere as then you don't have to worry about whether it was a waste of money or not. RE: tips for recording...don't put the mic on the floor as all you'll hear from the drums is a beep! i found out the hard way. GOOD LUCK PS. where abouts are the gigs (specifically)?

    i'd have to say 24 just for the extra amount of freedom it gives you and the fact that you can play the same note three times each in a different octave on the same string. although wouldn't you like a thirty fret guitar??? that right thirty, just count 'em

    hey and welcome to the forum... don't know if these are useful but you could do this or individual pickup control or even a neck on switch so that whatever position your 5 way is in you can add the neck P-Up hope that helps a bit dan
