    im guessing its fine at the nut. so that means either the neck is sat in the pocket at a funny angle or your trem has been put too high up so everythings sat slightly high. If you can get some pics it will be easier to help. T

    Well as Faylya said if i use the locking nut on it it will be quite likly that it will go slightly out of tune then with no fine tuners i cant fix that. However if i do get problems with it then i will give the gibson one a go if i can find them locally as including transport to the uk it wont make it worth while getting it from brian cuz its such a small thing, and im on a bit of a tight budget at the moment. Thanks for the help guys. T

    erm shouldnt you have a seperate vote for your build off as you never know another build may come in the GOTM and steal some of your votes making it a bit unfair. *Cough-voteformine-Cough* T

    its an Aria Mac50/7 neck that ive scalloped the top frets on. and im gonna keep the locking nut but not use it as a locking nut just because i cant find a nut blank that will fit. T

    All the teles on here have inspired me to make one.... it will have to wait till ive done my current project as i have some wood lying around that would make a brilliant tele... So im watching this one for inspiration on the different mods i can do as i dont want a standard tele. T

    Hey guys, just got the Eric Johnson Total Electric Guitar Video from ebay and basically it doesnt have the Booklet that goes with it. Does anyone else have the video and the booklet that can scan it and send me a copy. I dont think this would count as Stealing anything as i do actually own the video, If you can message me it will be a great help as theres so much usful stuff on here that i cant practice as i dont know what hes playing unless i slow it down real slow and then work it out note for note which will take me weeks lol.     lol ive done the contours to suit me and how i find it comfortable... but also i took the same angle but cuz that back bit is slanted like on the JS so it seems smaller. Also the pickup is just supposed to sound amazingly clean and have crazy harmonics i will give some sound samples once its up... And also for the sizes i photoshoped the front and back of an RG (horns right side) and JS (arm rest area so left side) and then copied that into corel draw then traced it to get it more accurate. Heres a kinda quick mock up ive just done as i deleted the original i made. Added: oh and there arnt any chips its just where ive had to knife around the edge where it was slightly thicker (a fraction of a mm) and didnt go all the way through. when i sand it they will all go. T

    Hey sorry guys been a week but i have pictures i will sort them out either later today or tomorow. T EDIT : PICTURES!! Ok i found time now so here they are its just placed together so you can see how its gonna look finished. !!WARNING HUGE PICTURES!! if there are any requests for smaller ones i will do them pic 2 pic 3 next im going to drill the holes for the neck and contour the heel, then do alot of sanding. Still trying to decide on a finish im thinking either natural or blue. T

    i dont really see the point in a tutorial... several people have recently done neck throughs just check out their threads and change to apply to your build. So gluing on the wings and shaping the heel into the body are the only real differences the rest is just the same. T

    after looking at both the crucible and the 6 string bass both stunning builds and great craftmenship by both (or all) of the builds the bass just topped it as it just looked more my style. So like lots of people in this vote i went with what i would have and that bass took the cookie! Good job guys im looking foward to next months. T

    i get where you coming from but you cant down grade someone for prefering a natural wood finish just because its easier to do, as you said its personal preference but you will still be more attracted to a colour you prefer for teh GOTM as you cant play these guitars only look... im sure someones said you can look but not touch to me before T

    well if you have a brilliant piece of wood why ruin it with a horrible colour? i mean come on let the wood do the talking dont try and make it prettier than it is! T

    Woah! GOTM this month is mental everyone is just insane and wish i could vote for em all but 2 are standing out a bit further than the rest for me i think my vote may be on the toss of a coin! Im scared to finish mine to enter next month now but i will any way (if life doesnt get in the way!) T
