I would just try to find a replacement switch soldering isn't hard there is a ton of info around the internet on how to do it. Here is a couple tutorials I found one through google the other through the forum search function.

Yeah I'm working on that I'm trying to get the parts together to go for prototype #2 with the entire circuit on one board and in general better fitting of the components on the inside. Just got a decent soldering set up for the first time in my life.
Seen this online anybody use it or does properly setting up your guitar pretty much eliminate the need for it? If you have used it do you like it?
