    it doesnt need to be fast. sure that is a trill. its a slur over the notes. so instead of picking the note you are just hammering and pulling off.

    no, to trill you hammer ON then pull off in one legato movement with one hand. (left hand). to do a true piano-classical esque trill you would repeat this fast. its simple, much more simple than you are probably thinking.

    that actually adds up to 1000 the head has decent chorus. fairly lush reverb. effects loop. decent flanger. and a nice delay. as for distortion/crunch kind of more blues than anything

    Stravinsky was great. there are some Astounding modern composers. imm not sure of the name but i listen to 89;5 and they have a lot of great pieces. im fond of "pathatique" by tsaikowski

Litch, the only 2 people you need to worry about liking your work, is you and the customer. if they dont like it do it again. if someone on these forums doesn't liek it you justs take it with a grain of salt.

    www i like your idea. i played the bubinga top. the tone was dead to my ear. but wow! look at that 85!!! thats crazy! spruce top w/flamed maple plus that finish!! wow its off to harmony central! nice! thanks.

    this is a stretch but if you really want a baritone guitar you could remove the fretboard and cut it again... there is a guide on the main page about how to remove a fretboard

    you use two piezo pickups one under bridge and one under fretboard for an upright apparently

    i LOVE the tone of a stand up bass! put 2 piezo pickups in it and you cant be beat!

    i think bubinga is wonderful... a little bright. but i certainly would not make a neck out of a flamed piece of maple unless it was heavily reinforced. or maybe had a laminate in the middle.

    wait a second. have you checked the prices recently on ebony? its feasible to use the faux ebony guide to fake it on a piece of mahogany or something. besides one piece of laminate is not going to exactly make or break the sound. and wenge is quite expensive as well...... so you may not want to make that the majority of the neck. have you concidered maple-bubinga-wenge-faux ebony-wenge-bubinga-maple it would still give you the laminated neck stability but for a little less. BTW bubinga is GREAT for necks.

    any suggestions? It can be a regular guitar with fat hums. and 7 string. i need the extended arpeggios.

    persoanlly im more of a jazzer however when i improvise in like A mixolydian Gypsy scale I like to use lots of arpeggio patterns. Especially when you use it in a chromatic way it sounds very interesting. learn the diminished scales and some exotic scales. then i would pick up the pieces.
