hyunsu Posted September 9, 2004 Author Report Share Posted September 9, 2004 my First Fingerboard(not selfmade fingerboard it is CNC cut & company maked fingerboard) order is arrived.. bolivian rosewood 8, ebony 5, asiarosewood 7 it's wood is choice of more 200 fingerboard wood material.. and my selected wood.. my choice is not texture & wood stright.. only knock and hear sound.. and my favorit tone wood fingerboard is asiarosewood(snokelling), it is cheap.. but good selected wood really good tone.. ^^ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

hyunsu Posted September 9, 2004 Author Report Share Posted September 9, 2004 hi.. fingerboard radious is 12" and scale length 25.5" and 24fret.. general start type size. no inlay.. i'm now office.. so.. this pic is my wife's work & upload photo.. i will go my home.. ^^ i'm suprize this fingerboard company.. not big size campany.. but only make fingerboard.. CNC, Laser cutting.. i buy this fingerboard wood total 450$ ^^ cheap and good quality.. and all wood is my selected wood.. if i buy stewmac or lmii.com.. i dont select wood but.. this campany is enable.. my selection.. i think radious & slotted fingerboad is upgrade neckmaking time.. i'm go home and working.. bye... bye.. T_T it really monster neck.. like baseball bat.. i dont like 19mm neck.. when i make guitar.. i found my favorit neck thick.. it is 24mm on zero fret.. have nice day.. hyunsu Posted September 14, 2004 Author Report Share Posted September 14, 2004 when my office job is end.. i never go anywhere.. allway go to home eat dinner.. and go my working room. i'm sleep 3~5 hours in a day.. guitar making is my pleasure, and some guitar is ordered.. and PRS type guitar is failed.. T_T in 1 month.. i spend my incomming's 1/5 for guitar making.. i want to luthiers.. it is my dream when i was 19 years old.. and now i'm 32years old.. i think.. it will be my last dream, my first dream is train driver.. but is not enable.. my color weakness.. many making is will be upgrade skill & more understand wood & Woos's choice's result.. so i think.. this time is will be my groundwork, i allway work. and have no weekend. 100 think and 1 action is good, it will be decrease fail.. and 1 failed more value than 1 success.. so try.. chatch.. have nice day.. hyunsu Posted September 20, 2004 Author Report Share Posted September 20, 2004 guitar play start? when i was 17years, i listen scolpions's "still loving you", it is my first rock music listen.. ^^ so i buy acoustic guitar 17 years old.. ^^ i was married with my wife.. & i invited she in my concert.. ^^ and we become intimate with each other and my first concert hole is my first rock concert live view stage.. my band is amathure band.. and when we have job.. our team is stop.. when i was 19 years olds. i watch "young guitar" japanese guitar book.. and first time show guitar making.. (ESP Guitar Academy), and i decide i will be luthiers. but it is not easy to study gutiar making in korea, and it is not enable guitar making study in japanes.. i dont speak japanises language & money.. it is only my dream.. ^^ when i was 30years.. i found my teacher , he is classic guitar builder. but he not make electric guitar.. and hardware.. & pickup.. so i too many try & catch.. ^^ and i want to guitar making is not my main incomming job.. because of my incomming is guitar maikng.. it is not funny.. i want to make guitar in my hobby .. and buy new project wood material , and keep my working room rantal cost, ^^ have nice day..
