I have loved all of your Leviathan's so far Jeremy, but one thing I would love to see is a model that is a flat tightly quilted top with white binding and a myka "volcano" style burst (http://www.mykaguitars.com/instruments/009/default.htm). Ebony fretboard and some a nicely eloquent inlay (or none at all) would just be so killer :D

Just my opinion of course, and I know you work a lot based on customer specs (i think?), but just thought I would throw that in :D Don't get me wrong though, I love your work, and this is no exception! B)

If you are a good painter, and Jeremy is, that finish will take about 3 days start to finish, since it's 2 part and cures fast.

Jivin, on that note and as I posted above, I will like to see the grain filled and sanded back, I know that Jeremy don't use stains, but straight colortoned clears, but it will make such a great difference to fill that grain with a light blue wash, just to tone it a bit. Will be like the freeze marke on iceburgs(sp?)

Maiden,

That finish was stained and sanded back, pictures look washed out sadly.

The middle was hard to do a deep 3D stain, can't really do it that well because it needed the transparent white in the middle. That makes it look a little cloudy. The quilt does look very deep in person though.

Cool Jeremy, I hate when the pics turn out like that don't you? I wish I could see it in person, I love the colors, what are you using for your white tone? HOK? I am about to get some extender for createx to see how it will work, unti lI get a set up, I'm stuck with nitro.

I never noticed until the GOTM thread how your truss rod cover echoes the headstock shape.

That's what I call attention to detail. :D

Great-looking finish, too. Not just your usual blue, this.
