eXCeSS Posted January 19, 2006 Report Share Posted January 19, 2006 If a guitar has a cavity (or what looks to be a cavity) for a FR, but there is no hole in the back of the guitar for springs or anything, would there be a way to put either a FR or some other tremolo in there with out having to route a cavity, or fill the hole? Hughes Posted January 20, 2006 Report Share Posted January 20, 2006 i believe front rout kahlers have the springs in the baseplate or similar to that...isnt he asking if you can have a floyd rose without a back rout? if so, i say no. you could cut the block off and mount it some how and lose the trem part? It was a massive ugly thing, that was all on top of the body, kind of like those hotwheel cars where the whole engine was sitting on top of the hood of the car.
