tsl602000
I started working on my third guitar this week. After two solid color strats I decided it was time to do something more fancy. Hope you like the pics. I'll post more of 'm as work progresses. westhemann
that certainly fits the fancy part.and what a nice fretboard. love the flame maple too
Setch
Nice flame, and really clean work - not a hint of burning, even in the corners of your routes. What's your secret?
tsl602000
What's your secret? to have the body made by a skilled person...:-) This is my first maple topped guitar and decided not to take any risks, so I had some one else rout the body for me...... Setch
Sneaky. Seeing the work you did on the first two I don't think you've got much to sweat, they were really sharp guitars. Where do you get that lovely maple from?
tsl602000
Setch, I bought it from a luthier here in Holland.... both the neck and top are 4A

tsl602000
It's gonna be kinda burst I bet! ...with a roller?! Any idea's on what color(s) this beauty will end up being? HAHAHA, I was waiting for the roller comment...:-) No, this guitar will have a natural binding and I never liked bursts anyway. I got a color sample chart in front of me and I'm still in doubt about the color. It's gonna be something like this:link I know that guitar has a burst... I'll either go with the yellowish or brown stain.....
