weezerboy Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 hello, i was wondering if it possible to draw on a guitar and then varnish over....i have a friend who is an excellent artist but doesn't like painting....would this be possible.. thanks dan Quote
Page_Master Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 hey man i don't see how it would be impossible . my friend did that with his shitty hondo guitar, it looks great. he just drew trippy patterns on it with a silver paint pen and covered it with varnish. not the proper thing to do but hey. budman68 Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 I'm sure people are getting tired of seeing this one but yes, it can be done, at least with Charcoal Pencils it can I just cleared over it with urethane and it had no reactions as far as running or separating. Hope that helps! Dave-> Quote
