I have the neck carved, this thing will be buttoned up soon. that is an amazing idea with the cutout behind the guitar for the high frets. mind if i use that idea on my build? I did it on my very first build because I was just trying to incorporate everything I could think of, and my palm would always hit that corner on most of my other guitars, so I cleared it. I ended up really liking it, so I do it on everything now. I have seen it on some other guitars since, so I probably just wasn't paying attention before. Plugged it in today and took it for a short test drive, prior to giving a proper set-up, and it plays and sounds amazing if I do say so myself.
