jahnj1
You do it by hand! Heres a picture guide to it: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/robert.deacon/robert.deacon/ What program do you use to design this?
Osorio
Think in do it by hand, but I want to find a easier way to do. I think to use the Dremel I use corel draw to do the constrution plans.

idmicheal
Do you plan on binding the top? If so, it'll be interesting to see how you cut the rabbet on the upper horn

Osorio
Do you plan on binding the top? If so, it'll be interesting to see how you cut the rabbet on the upper horn Yes that's the plans!! This step will bee very painfull, but the horn it's crucial to the final result. I'll take many pics of this step. Wow, a Kahler and synth access on a mandolin shaped guitar.. that's pretty wild! This is the most different and hard project that I have made. Very unique build! Looking forward to the progress. Your builds are always excellent btw. Yep! Unique that's the word to name this project! About my builds ... just some Lesters, cut here, sand there, nothing more! This weekend I'll post more pics. Tks you all!!!

Osorio
Binds glued. I rout most of channel extension with a regular router/bearing router bit, and that little edge at "voluta" with a dremel router and a micro router bit. This pictures had a very poor quality, because ate taken with my sony handycam with vga resolution, but give an idea of how the work it's done in this step. thi finish of the bind edges on the "voluta" it's impossible to do a plain joint, so, I decide to put a MOP dot there to get the work as clear as possible. eddiewarlock
Alessander: for that kind of joints, use plastic pipes glue. They sell it at hardware stores. It helps you create invisible joints when using binding because it melts it as it holds the pieces together.

jaycee
Really enjoying this build, the I think the "custom" wedges holding the binding on typifies the amateur builder to a T'. There's probably a tool for that somewhere. Looking good Al
Menapia
I don't know Jaycee the guy turns out some amazing work he's hardly an amateur .Besides all good builders have to improvise at some point.
Osorio
In fact I'm not a pro, I'm a hobbyst builder and get a lot to learning yet. This guitar is a challenge to me, it's diferent of all guitars that I have made. Every build have your teaching quota, this one had yours. See youu guys!!!
