Guest Litchfield Custom Gutars
Looks more like ash to me, but zebra wood can be wide grain like that too. Freaking wierd. And the Easy Rider Tele bod for $469 is a steal
Guest Litchfield Custom Gutars
Grrr. Scratch that. After scrolling down, it is zebrawood. Not sure how I feel about the sunbust on zebra tho.

daveq
And the Easy Rider Tele bod for $469 is a steal Really or are you joking? Have you seen others for sale? If so, how much and who in the heck is buying them - I've got a few bodies lying around I'd like to sell them.
Scott Rosenberger
That guy isn't making much money on that body relative to the time + Material cost that it takes to do it
LGM Guitars
Lets put it this way, that's pretty close to what the paint finish alone would cost to have custom done. Not including the price of the body itself, I think it's a damn good price if it's what you're looking for. When you consider that Urethane is typically about $30 a pint, and the clear is about $200 a gallon, (we're not talking the minwax single part furniture crap here) that's a lot of money in materials alone never mind labor
syxxstring
Look at his feedback people are buying them and happy. I agree with the others, having attempted that kind of work on rc bodies, its a steal.
GuitarMaestro
Is there any guitar uglier than the Tele?
westhemann
Is there any guitar uglier than the Tele? yes...the one in the rant section a few weeks back
jbkim
Yeah, that Dr. Seuss guitar was something else... but why is that tele comment even here? It's a good way to alienate 1000's of guitar lovers.
