Simo
Hi, I'm buiding up a bolt-on Les Paul copy from parts, I've got a very nice mahogany body from ebay but I'm looking for a neck. I'd prefer a brand new one but I can't find many places selling them in the UK, can anyone suggest where I can get one from Cheers

Simo
I'm only after a bolt-on type neck, nothing to fancy. I'm on quite a tight budget but I don't mind paying a decent price for the right neck
Drevan
have you tried axesrus.com?
Simo
Yes but they only have Mighty Mite necks that have dot inlays and a PRS style headstock, I'm not too bothered about the headstock design but I don't think Les Paul's look right with dot inlays. It's a cool site though prices a very good.
Guest Litchfield Custom Gutars
I have seen them on Ebay UK, try searching for Encore neck. I know there were some a couple weeks ago.
renablistic
warmoth sells em for 173 w/ rosewood fingerboard, and 188 w/ebony (both mahogany) They're good necks, just overpriced..
Simo
I seach Ebay all the time, but I'm looking for somthing better than an Encore Yeah I've seen them on Warmoth's site, but I don't want to buy from abroad as I don't want to get stung by VAT duties

Pr3Va1L
My friend has the very same problem... we live in canada and he, too is building a LP from parts got his body from fleabay but now i dunno... there are some nice necks that look perfect from some seller called MagicDragon but he don't wanna get one on ebay man... he wants to have a local luthier BUILD one... i don't think he understands it'll cost even more than an actual gibson one... lol anyways anyone could help with that? some shop that would have something of quality?? Sambo
You'd probably have trouble finding one in britain to be honest, and if u could it'll probably be custom made. WD music UK do some necks (here) that are paddle headstock strat ones, but again have dot inlays. If you're bothered about the dot inlays you could have a go at doing the block les paul style ones yourself? Stewmac do some precut lespaul inlay sets that are pretty good? marksound
I don't know about customs and tariffs and VATS (oh my), nor do I know what headstock shape you're looking for, but take a look here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...ssPageName=WDVW For that price you could afford to practice on a couple. ToneMonkey
Have a look at Craft Supplies (you'll need their catalogue though as they're not on the website). They come with a paddle style headstock so that you can make it any shape that you want. I'm not too sure if they only have dots though
genbloke
Simo, exchange rate is quite good at the moment, it still might be worth shipping from the states depending on your budget. You could get your neck and some hardware (pickups bridges etc are generally a lot cheaper in the states) from the same place and only get stung once on the P+P genbloke
