My First Guitar

Sorry wrong section. I have also added it to the new build section!

I finished my first guitar and I'm pretty proud of it. It's a solid ash body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. I learned quickly that solid ash makes a guitar very heavy, but solid. The body and neck are sprayed with a vintage amber base and a red modern mahogany fade. I used Mohawk tone sprays for the color and finished it with a Component Poly Urethane for the top.

Amazing!

Love it!

Enter it in GOTM, and this month'll be as close a competition as last month!

Incidentally--

1. You and I are doing this 2 different ways. You've gotten inexpensive parts on ebay, and have produced a great product. I, on the other hand, have been shelling out tonnes of cash and will likely end up with the equivalent of ****-on-a-stick. :D

2. I love the Ventures! Walk, Don't Run is tough to beat.
