ajb
If you could only pick one brand of acoustic or acoustic electric, bass, and electric, what brand would it be. I'd say epiphone because i like their elecrtics( i know there is better ), but i really like their acoustics, they have some cool basses too. P.S. if you have a problem with this question because it doesnt reach your standards than dont complain, just leave.
ajb
sorry, i reread it it seems confusing, let me reword it, the acoustic or acoustic electric, bass, and electric all must be of the same brand, and you would get them free (if this dream came true) and as for amps, u all get a marshall halfstack! and watever pedal u want. Curtis P
I would have a custom made one, but if it had to be a brand, Westone, or................ have to go for Gibson Curtis
Jivin
Id probably say Gibson, cause i like their stuff and the make a big range close behind would be Jackons cause i love em and Maton cause they are Australian
Stalefish
Why must you torment me!! I'll go with the Gibsons, though.. I love Fender Strats but Fender acoustics aren't all that great.. Picked up Gibson acoustic one time (can't remember the model no.) and it was like the ideal acoustic..
wylde1919
I'll get flamed for this but Ibanez, simply because they have solis electrics and acoustics, and I have always loved ibanez basses. plus they have great hollow and semi holows as well. just my 2 cents. ajb
wylde, ibanez isnt that bad, ibanez does make basses and if i remember correctly fretless basses too, but u do u hafta be cautious when buying an ibanez electric, cant say i've palyed an ibanez acoustic though. westhemann
i have an ibanez acoustic.....it's decent but you would be better served with a yamaha imo
westhemann
dreaming about endorsements or something?if so i believe ibanez may be the way to go...they make electrics, acoustics, hollowbodies, and basses all at a decent price for pretty good quality
FajiiNako
ya, i'd have to go for ibanez too. I'd say jackson, but they don't make very good basses in my opinion. Same with fender (just my opinion). I like Ibanez's solid body electrics, basses, and those neat-o strings with the powder coated single wrap going down their bass strings
www
Taylor jumbo. I'd build anything else and someday might even build my own acoustic.
goth_fiend
well i would have to say either jackson guitars or mcs, probably mcs though simply because i could gut ya with one www.mosercustomshop.com
teknohippy
I think I'd have to say Yamaha, as they make a wide variety of stuff with very very high standards at the top of the ranges. I
Devon Headen
I think I'm with www. Don't feel like I can build an acoustic yet, so I'd just build everything else and go for a good acoustic. Especially since most of my playing is on an acoustic. Kinda hard to be a solo act with just an electric guitar . I'd say Olson, probably. If they have to make the other things, I'd say probably Gibson. I'm sure Olson could make it if you paid enough though :-P
Scott Rosenberger
I'd get a PRS Hollowbody with Piezo option for the acoustic/electric and a McCarty for the electric and a 5 string bass for the bass
ajb
i was wondering if anyone on this site owns a prs, do u scott, because these guitrars refuse to print the price in the sam ash magazines.
stageleft
I am going to go way out on a limb here and say Carvin, even though i've never played one of their acoustics, their electric guitars and basses are so good.... George
bowser
my gut reaction was ibanez, i love their stuff, but then i thought about jackson too, because you could get a nice custom shop guitar, and now carvin too...well i would take any of the three i guess
Jehle
I'm surprised that I didn't see Yamaha anywhere. I like their acoustics and electrics well enough. I don't know if they even have basses or acoustic-electrics. They probably do though since they make everything, kind of like Honda but Honda doesn't make guitars yet. GEdwardJones
I don't know if they even have basses or acoustic-electrics. They probably do though since they make everything, kind of like Honda but Honda doesn't make guitars yet. They do. Michale Anthony and Billy Sheehan have signature models. Yamaha also has the brilliant "silent guitar" and electro acoustic which is so quiet unplugged as to be, well, "silent."
Scott Rosenberger
i was wondering if anyone on this site owns a prs, do u scott, because these guitrars refuse to print the price in the sam ash magazines. Yep, I have a Green Custom 24 10 top and a Purple mcCarty 10 Top. Both Flame
GuitarMaestro
I would go with Ibanez as well, although the Fender Strat is my favorite guitar....Ibanez has everything from acoustics to basses and everything they build is of great quality.... Michale Anthony and Billy Sheehan have signature models. And the king of bass players John Myung plays a Yamaha as well!!!!
