GregP
Carvin links never work for me. They send me to a Carvin portal, instead, and I never know for sure what I'm supposed to be looking for once I get to the site. Edit: Aha! They don't have them at the "Carvinworld" site yet (the one you get through to the portal), but it was easy enough to just enter "carvin.com" into my address bar. Nice-looking guitars! Devon Headen
You can get SS frets for $40. You gonna try those if you get it?

darren wilson
Carvin has had the DC 727 and 747 7-strings for a couple of years now. I like the new California Carved Top models, but they sure are a bit of a step up in price from Carvin's usual offerings.

BLS
I got the new catalog and these looks awesome! Carvin never ceases to amaze me... except why do some of their floyd rose model have a regulat nut instead of a locking nut?

Carvin never ceases to amaze me... except why do some of their floyd rose model have a regulat nut instead of a locking nut? well they seem to think graphite nut and locking tuners works as well as a locking nut...i don't agree myself...i know for a fact a locking nut will last forever, and heavy use will eat a graphite nut up pretty quick
BLS
well atleast they still put the locking nut on some models. Would the string fall out of place if you do a whammy dive? That must also create alot of tension on the headstock whne the strings pull back from a dive bomb
hy_dro66
Definately looks cool. I love the wide figure on the top. If it plays as good as it looks you'll have a great instrument.
