  1. This is turning into another Litch type thread. I'm closing it until I get clarification from Brian or Kevan
  2. I don't think so. My PRS is a '97 Why does it matter where they're made?
  3. the McCarty Tuners are pretty much Kluson Deluxe tuners that you'd find on a Les Paul. They're good tuners I have no complaints with them
  4. There's a Blue MXR EQ at my Guitar Center for $80
  5. you're gonna ban me from the site for talking about fedex and guitars in a fedex-guitar thread? man, thats harsh ← no, We're going to ban you for bashing the Company. This thread is about a Guitar. It just happens to have the FedEx logo on it.
  6. I got mine on ebay for $155 shipped last week. you've just got to be patient if you want the good price
  7. OK so we have three accepts now. No need to keep nominating someone once they accept Accepted nominations are: Thegarehanman Mattia Maiden69
  8. Matt keep an eye out for a Hafler/Bogner Triple Giant. if you're patient and check often enough you can get one for around $300 It's basically the poorman's Bogner Fish Here's one but it's a little pricey
  9. Does anyone here have access to one? I need a couple measurements and a Good HiRes Photo. Ive searched the net and cant come up with any good photos
  10. YES! Cut the inlays at that thickness and then sand/file it flush. Recon Stone is very brittle. the thicker the better
  11. did he pay you for the job? If so, take some of the money and buy some nippers to cut the strings with. Sorry, uncut strings are a HUUUGE pet peeve of mine
  12. it's more about consistancy. If you get a good conditioner that actually regulates the voltage you'll sound more consistant from gig to gig. FYI most of those "rack rider" things don't regulate voltage, they only protect against surges like a giant rack mounted power strip
  13. Just dont leave your cable plugged into the guitar
  14. You can take them apart and put the gear posts in from the other side so they're correct.
  15. PM Drak, He'll be glad to help you with the lacewood. He did a Blue Dyed Rhoads V a year or so ago.
  16. Maybe I'm not as "Metal" as I used to be. Sorry Perry but I voted for Mattia
  17. Jake E. Lee used smaller frets on his guitars too. only his started after the 12th fret.
  18. makes perfect sense to me. the bottom neck has a slide nut on it. you could play standing up with your hand over the top of the bottom neck
  19. I take exception to that remark, I bought 2 Singlecuts and put them under the bed right after I heard about the lawsuit. Oh well At least I get to play them now
  20. Send it to Member- DaveK He can powdercoat it any color you want
  21. I think Fender's 50th Anniversary was in '96. The Strat's 50th was in 2004
