  1. ONLY $5 FOR A STRAT!? I might have a friend who will want it.
  2. ^ Finnally someone noticed. That's the reason why were rerecording(for timing issues). Im disapointed by the bass not being up, because on the main verse, it sounds really cool. I'll try maybe to edit it on my computer because I don't feel like doing it all over again right now. Thanks for all the input. And Bluespresence it was just a joke but if you wanna email me the song and tab go right ahead!
  3. You sure zinged me, but I bet its hard for you too *zing*! Damn that was lame.
  4. Were looking for a vocalist, but remember were young and have not yet have access to all the kids in the city but next year we will. (talking about schools if you couldn't tell)
  5. I would go with Tommy and USACG if they had the type of wood I wanted, but I still like Warmoth very much. With either one, I hear you will get very good results, and doubt you will be disapointed.
  6. ^ lol to the the rig thing, but it was my fault about the bass. luckily we will re-record and my hand happened to slip. But way to young to listen to the Allman Bros. You insult me. I was even going to go the Derek Trucks concert if it wasn't on Thanksgiving weekend. Me and my friends have been listening to classic rock since forever, and in the last 2 years I have been getting into blues, jazz, funk, and almost anything but rap and polka. Also BTW The Who tickets are on sale for Massachusetts folks. If you see those kids up close shouting in John Entwistles memory, that'll be me my friend and my dad(I don't know if he will be shouting lol)
  7. That guitar looks sweet. Can't wait to see it all in the end
  8. Yeah I was using my computer speakers and for some reason the bass was all the way up, but were gonna re-record today and I'll make sure to sneak in some bass
  9. Hey guys I thought I would post one of my bands songs. I'll post the rest up another time, since were going to re-record most of them. Well hope you enjoy! http://danondabass.dmusic.com/ (The song is Is This A Dispatch Song) I'm on bass btw. And I'm the oldest one(so were all in our very early teens) and I'm also the least expierenced.
  10. I've been hearing OFR is the way to go, but about 5mm will show up on the bass side, which I don't really mind.
  11. 36 views and not one reply. Come on. I know plenty of you have RGs that you turned into JEMs that have Floyd Rose. I'm just wondering if I have to do some routing on my RG or if I can just set up the Floyd Rose wihout routing. Also wondering what type of Floyd Rose. Don't make me go email you guys
  12. Hey guys I need some help here. I got a '96 Ibanez RG 270, with the crappy Floyd Rose. I'm wondering what type of Floyd Rose could replace it(preferably from www.dreamlandguitars.com) Just wondering if I could use OFR or Lo-Pro or what. If you need a picture I'll try to get one up soon. Thanks!
  13. Is it okay if I just sand it down with the power sander and when I hit the wood/grain I just start doing the sanding by hand, so I don't screw up?
  14. That would make sense, but damn, that was a ton of lacquer lol.
  15. I see you have the same Schecter Custom as I do. Isn't it such an awesome bass
  16. I'm not sure if this is in the right forum section, but if it isn't ill delete this thread and move it. Anyways back to the point of this post. Today I was hyped because I was going to finally strip the paint off my Ibanez RG 270. I got out my paint stripper and applied it on. It did nothing, but maybe take a little off, even though it took a good amount off the cavitys. So I reapplied it and it still did nothing. I then decided to sand it down, but all this white dust kept coming up. So I continued to sand and another layer popped up. I sanded down more and another layer. I then think I finally hit the wood, but now I gotta go back to Home Depot to get a power sander . Just a headsup to people/wondering if this should be happening.
  17. If I wasn't already working on two things already that need a lot of time and money I would so go for one of those kits. Maybe I'll ask for one around Christmas time(Chanukah and my birthday is on Christmas. Double Whammy!)
  18. I would say you should either sell the bass how it is without the tuning key, or buy a whole new set/vintage set and replace each one. Either way your going to get your moneys worth when you sell it
  19. That looks damn nice! I think you should sand down the front, but its your choice. Can't wait to see it all finished!
  20. That's an awesome axe man It looks great! Especially the inlay job!
  21. Nice! Love the P-Bass, but how much does the P-Bass accually way? Just wondering
  22. can you send some pics to rickenbacker25@hotmail.com I don't have any money to spend yet, but when I do and if I'm still interested I'll give you an email
  23. Man this thread got a good laugh from me. Anyways, I guess I notice it, but I don't really talk much about it, unless I'm with some friends that will appreciate it
  24. Defenately have to do a tutorial. And I think this smiley speaks for the inlay job...
