    It should be working but the image I posted up has gone away. It was created as a bonus for the members that support the forum so they wouldn't have to look around for a website to upload their pictures to and then have to link over from with all the hassles that can come with that.

    I would tape off the maple first if it isn't sealed properly and have a cleaning agent around just incase your dye somehow did get to it but I don't see why not.......

    Welcome to the forum, one way is if the humbucker has 4 leads you can turn it into a 2 lead pickup by wiring the coils together in series and then just attaching it to your pots and switch like you would the exsisting single coil. You can get a better idea of which wires are what by looking at this diagram Just attach the B to the D and seal that connection leaving it un-attached to anything else and covered so it won't ground out the curcuit anywhere.

    Probably would but it's always best to print a second one to use for a test piece first.........

    I don't see why it wouldn't as long as you drill out the post anchor holes correctly.

    Yup it can be done using a template and a sand blaster

    I know Rosewood as well as Ebony and other darker woods can have and hold a lot of natural oils in them and some more then others. The Minwax might have drawn some of it out causing a chemical reaction.

    Last time that happened to me I polished it up with very fine emery cloth and added a fine coat of oil on it before hammering it back on and it hasn't fallen off since.

    You might want to do a search engine lookup on luthier schools

    Should be ok to clean it up even more so with the stripper then clean it off with naptha or some other quick desolving agent. You just don't want to let the exposed wood to enough time to absorb the chemicals deeply once they are on, causing the wood itself to swell up.

    That really depends on the condition of the hardware and also what all is included in the deal. Quality of course will up the price but just saying a couple of strat copies (squire, encore, stagg, etc.) I'd guess well under $100 USD each since you can get most of them new for around that same price if you wait and catch them during a sale.

    I love being able in part to see a company from the edge of obscurity become one thats recognized through out the world, course your seeing it first hand and I think It's cool..........

    Any chance you could photograph one for an example to work with or maybe find out the values as well?

    with a chip that deep and irregular in shape your either going to have to strip it back down all the way or take your chances building it back up with either bondo or some other filler from what I can see.
