    I was gonna buy a guitar from my teacher in which it was fully scaloped. It would of spoilted to me to death I just wasen't my style of guitar and he wanted too much.

    I could make a whitty comment that would tick off alot of people here, but I won't. I think the thing to do if you hate you sound it to try new pickups. I don't know about humbuckers because I've never had a guitar with them.

    I've been trying to figure that out now for sooo long What you need is a website, but not like a tripod, one with servers that you have to buy and design and stuff. Another option is to find a site thats offers non-dynamic image hosting, and nobody offers thats, only dynamic hosting is out there In the bottom of this section I have a thread that I'm use to test out pics from different sites, but soo far nothing has worked.

    the only reason I suggested using carbon fiber is because of the wood he has and the fact that I don't know how it will act. If if we're quarter-sawn I think the only reason you would have to use carbon fiber is if you live in the extremest of weather conditions or really small neck.

    you have one truss rod in the middle of the neck like this then you would put two neck-long strips of carbon fiber rods on either side of the truss rod this stuff

    hmmm, I think that it would be alright to use, but I would for sure use a double truss-rod and even two strips of carbon fiber neck rods. Those c.f. rods aren't expensive either. You can get them for about $10 at Stemart-MacDonald.

    thats depends on what type of music you play too. I play country and love dual-fulcrom (sp?) trems like on G&Ls because I don't use it much, so I have don't normally have the whammy bar in, and with a G&L trem you can just use you hand with hardly any effort.

    First of all, welcome to the forum. Now for the hard part. Personally,I'd go with the blue stain, but that totally depends on what you like. p.s. what type of guitar is this gonna be? (strat-type, tele-type, ect...)
