    Nice colours! Very warm. I think a clear pickgaurd would look great, I know you'd see the knobs and what not but it's not like you're going for the clean and simple look with a swirl Apart from clear, I think pearloid guard would also look nice, but I think pearloid looks nice on everything

    Well, I think the fact that you contestants are probably the only people to purposely build a corvus as a project guitar is solidarity enough.

    Just an idea: maybe the wood was engraved, then the headstock painted cream. Then the headstock was block sanded leaving only the paint in the channels you engraved. Again, just an idea.

    Cameras don't work on guitars in artificial light at all. Turn the flash on = too much reflection Turn the flash off = too dull and blurry

    I don't like the Ibanez necks, people are under the assumption that they are great because they're so thin (17mm nowadays), which is not the case. Well, some people like them. I like my electric necks half way; about 20mm thick with a 12" radius. Fret size is also an important factor to consider. I also play classical and I couldn't ask for a more comfortable neck for that kind of stuff, it's not just chunky, it's morbidly obese!

    Get regular pup's and buy one of those black press on covers, then swirl the cover thing. But if you have the EMG's already... I'm not sure if the outside black bit is water proof

    That ebony is so black! and the mahogany so beutiful! and the neck and body match! Stick it in GOTM, it's a good chance. That ebony is insane....

    Nice work andy, your swirl is very close to the original. And I like the colours in yours Reamer. I have the plans and the G.A.S for a swirled Jem right now, looks like I've found my next project....
