  1. If you can find fabric with it on then go for it Heres a LINK to a tutorial on the main site covering material finishes ~~ Slain Angel ~~
  2. Sounds killer man!! Not so sure on the body finish...then again im rather fussy.... have you considered just a White finish? rather plain i know but I think it could look really nice! Glad to see this project is coming along dude!,, Good luck with it!! ~~ Slain Angel ~~
  3. With that rule Dino, theres also an element of common sense to be used... If we followed that in the way you want us to, Somebody could post a guitar they have built...ok the thing is horribly designed, its unplayable... and the finish is awful BUT we must still all say "Thats Brilliant" We did NOT slate you as a person but instead commented on the fact that YOUR WORK WAS GOOD BUT "PERSONALLY they might not like it!! Dino you need to learn to Accept criticsm, It will (regardless if you think it or not) help you in the future as you learn from mistakes... ~~ Slain Angel ~~
  4. Hey dude calm down a little, No one said that they didnt like the 21 fret neck so lets not like the project... they just stated that perhaps they prefer 22 or 24 Same with the headstock... people said they dont like it but also said well done for creating a very very very good replica of the orignal I think before you tell everyone how to behave... you should take some time out and watch the every day happenings of this forum... the critiiscm is usually the most helpful part of a build... it shows you the good and bad parts allowing you to improve on the next one BACK ON TOPIC Thats a great finish there, Top class ~~ Slain Angel ~~
  5. Hey dude! That is a really nice warlock, I always wanted a warlock until i saw all the younger kids playin the bronze versions and it out me off. The thought, even if i had a platinum, being the same just made me cry! However your guitar has once again got me going for a warlock!! Great work dude and get some pics of the headstock... Just a guess but is the "6 in a line pointy" follow something like this? Once again killer work dude ~~ Slain Angel ~~

  15. OK OK i appologise in advance if this has been covered before but i couldnt find anything using search... Got a Single humbucker with single volume here... now plenty of sites offer wiring diagrams for 4 wire humbuckers but this has 2... I was going to do coil split but with it being a lot of hassle to make a 2 wire pickup coil splittable.. i went away from that idea So can anyone do me a huge favour and russle up a nice, easy to understand wiring diagram for this? I again appologise if its been covered before... Plus just for interest.. is there anything i can really do to this 2 wire pickup to give me some more options besides adding another pickup or yank it out and stick a 4 wire one in? Cheers guys! ~~ Slain Angel ~~
  16. If you wanna spend some money... i THINK pickguard paradise do custom orders... give em a ring and see if you can sort something out... ? They charge $75 starting and I know you could probably easily make one for much cheaper.. but might be worth looking at if you want something special Pickguard Paradise Website Good luck with the project Greg ~~ Slain Angel ~~
  17. Not sure if this is any help BUT.. ive chucked the file on a free host to save you having to rename it to a .doc BuildingaSemi.doc Not sure how long itll work for but Ahh thought id help And with the tutorial.. DEFINITLY continue... there will NEVER be enough refrences on how to build... you might even throw some new ideas into the forum which can benefit all of us! Good luck dude ~~ Slain Angel ~~

  19. Good luck man, im sure you will do great at the new place ~~ Slain Angel ~~
  20. Cheers kevan Im pretty sure the pickups wont be an issue as i dont have them really close to the strings now... and there is still movement for em to go Il check the rest later when i get an opertunity! Once again thanks! ~~ Slain Angel ~~
  21. Not meaning to hijack but ive been wondering the same thing... On my cheap cruiser guitar it has a "deluxe tremolo" which allows full forward movement (divebomb) but doesnt allow any pulling up... And yes it does sit flush to the body... With that in mind... am i right in saying if i cut out a small cavity into the body... ill be able to pull up as well? Sorry if this seems like hijacking but i didnt see the point of starting a new thread.. ~~ Slain Angel ~~
