  1. How many frets are you looking for and what scale? Locking nut or standard? Tuners included or no? Preferred headtock style?
  2. 7 string duncans, took me about 2 minutes JB http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=guit...ase_pid/300513/ Invader http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=guit...ase_pid/300516/ Distortion http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=guit...ase_pid/300515/ Custom http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=guit...ase_pid/300514/
  3. http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Hardware,_part...p_Ferrules.html You'll have to buy another set but its another $3,cmon man http://www.warmoth.com/hardware/tuners/tun...n=guitar_tuners They list a set of 7 at the top but its not for inline its 4 left and 3 right but you can buy individual tuners to get 7.
  4. Buy a Godin, its a bit more expensive then squires and epis but its alot better quality,my friend has one and I've played otheres and they blow most guitars in their price range away(the lower end ones),trust me it'll last you a while. My friend withe the Godin also has a Dave Mustaine ESP signature and ill tell you that he still pulls out the Godin, it can hold its own.
  5. Whats your ebay user name or whatever, I wanna see what else you've got.
  6. Ah, that makes sense,i think it looks great, very unique and distinctive but not so over the top that people go, eww whats that(like those god awful floyd rose guitars from the 80's, not guitars with floyds, guitars made by floyd). I think im going to have to call this one barney just because of all the purple going on.
  7. Ah fair enough, I didnt remember what kind of adhesive they had used there. Better to measure twice and cut once... or ask and get the right answer before doing something dumb (which im prone to doing).
  8. Looks good, what kinda body shape is that?I saw it on your other one in the what guitars do you play thread,it looked sweet.
  9. What did you pay for it? I'd think that would be a fairly good indication of what you can expect for it.
  10. Thats what I thought but Kevans fretboard tutorial used steam so i figured I should ask. I'll take some pictures and hope it works out ok, I'll do it tomorrow,so pictures...probably tomorrow afternoon since I have nothing else I have to do .
  11. What setting should i use on the iron?Steam or Dry? and should i use a t shirt like in the fretboard removal tutorial or should I just put it on the heel?
  12. Alright, so awhile ago i bought a strat style washburn guitar for a low price and I figured id give it some new paint and pickups and whatever and It would be a good easy project. Well the person who had it before me must've been off his rocker because he glued the bolt on neck into place. I've been trying to figure out what to do to get this neck off, ive been trying to get into the neck pocket with knives, scrapers, hammers, razor blades and 'm making very little progress. If anyone has any suggestions or advice I'd love to hear it. If you need more info just ask and I'd be glad to inform. Thanks, Spencer
  13. I know, I was actually gonna write that but then I realised I might confused some people from what I was actually meaning to jus saying he was short.
  14. http://ca.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/sameoldso...769.jpg&.src=ph thats wha my current project will look like with a few things different, the truss rod cover will match the pickguard, the headstock wont be an ibanez and the bridge will be black. I'm just waiting on the bridge pretty much.
  15. I have to agree with Wes, he gave you a break for something that you shouldnt have posted and then you go and insult a respected, friendly and intelligent member of this forum. If anyone here is ungrateful I'd say its you. Try and keep thoughts like that to yourself next time, now lets all get along .
  16. Mahogany and basswood have fairly different tonal charactersitics and mahogany isn't really what I'd call light. I'd say you might wanna hit the books abit before you go out and buy anything.
  17. Ah,alright, you looked short and with the angle and the way your sitting I thought for a minute you were a midget And what part of ontario are you from?
  18. How tall are you curtis? I play my Charvel superstrat, made in japan, its better than everything else I have...yet.
  19. It could be me but doest stew mac make pickguards to your routing specs etc. for like $26?
  20. Happy 4th of July to you crazy yanks have fun and don't get too drunk .
  21. Can't wait to see it Matt, your stuff always looks sweet ...and evil of course.
  22. I think it looks really nice except for one small visual thing and one other thing I just don't like. To me it looks like the body is too long, just my preference/opinion but I think it woulda looked nicer if it was justa bit shorter. And EMG hz pickups? Oh dear all that good wood muddied up with microphonic pickups Nice work though.
  23. The wod might be eating some ultra sweet guitars if you aren't careful
