  1. Nice work! Agressive yet elegant. You can remove those tuners and carefuly fill the air pockets with some C/A. No one will ever know
  2. You need to open a photo host account like photobucket, and copy/paste your pics on your post.
  3. Thanks, I think I'll go with something like 11/16" or 5/8" as you mentioned.
  4. It's a tele shaped maple topped mahogany body, 1 1/2" mahogany 1/4"top, almost 3/4" deep neck pocket (fretboard almost flush to the body).Standard 4 bolt plate. Client wants Valley Arts type recces on the heel. Since I've never gone any thinner than this, don't know if it would be stable enough. Any thoughs? Thanks in advance.Jose.
  5. Nice tones! that neck pickup sounds robust. Never been a fan of distorted tones with a tele bridge pickup (jmho), but everything else rocks!
  6. Nice heal, looks comfy. Any idea of its weight? I have a lot of sapelle and thought that without weigh relief it would be too heavy.
  7. Looking good. Is this your first? If it is, you've got my respect for going all in on a laminated neck.
  8. Your grass needs some watering, really nice work by the way.
  9. That blue jack washer and toggle tip are the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. This is shaping up to be great.
  10. Beautiful!!! I'm not a fan of the Kahler, but that's me. The finished product is A+.
  11. Have you used ash for a fretboard before? I think I've never seen one, but sounds very interesting.
  12. This is a really interesting build. Keep going.
  13. Can't complain on the weather here in the Caribbean.
  14. That is one beautiful guitar, I dig the asymmetrical F hole.
  15. That's the nature of that kind of wood, some people call it chatoyance.
