  1. Whoa...away for a few hours and theres all this bitching about burning guitars? Get over it.
  2. I say, let him make the mistakes... He will learn from them as we all do.
  3. ! I want to build a V! That thing looks awesome!
  4. Looks great, glad to hear you will have some time to work on guitars, i need some time too...too many builds, absolutely no time to finish
  5. Need to host somewhere we can access without signing up to another forum.
  6. Just a larger route at the back of the pick guard and the pickups attached to the pick guard like its one giant mounting ring. Put in the most simple form i could. I need sleep.
  7. I was under the impression that you lived in a place where European Beech was cheap and plentiful? At least it wasn't Master grade Koa.
  8. I love how he asks for advice all the time, then totally ignores it!
  9. Therefore the obvious answer is that they are not square...just because the ran it on a jointer, doesn't mean it's gonna be perfect. Invest in a hand plane, learn to use it.
  10. Surely if it was, we would of heard about it? But yes, it is a copy though legally it differentiates from the Warrior enough for Jackson to not take legal action.
  11. Ohh, thanks ryanb! Now I've understand the Erikbojerik idea!! I think I'll try it! I will be doing this in the future - using a 6mm shank routing bit with a large diameter cutter and running the shank along the rectangular route for the humbucker, basically erikbojerik's idea.
  12. Nice looking ziricote you have there! Hehe...Mash All.
  13. No, unfortunately it doesn't work like that.
  14. I would think it's just a warmoth design...
  15. Say bye to all of those boss od's/distortion's, there are much better pedals such as EHX metal muff, big muff etc... I find boss distortion pedals lack tone.
  16. Sapele, definitely. It's a nice timber, my favorite to use in fact. Looks like a nice build!
  17. I have had the timber for my first for a long time, but it seems my days go like this - Wake up @ 6, Work till 3, Get angry at traffic on the way home, Rest for a while, Sleep, Repeat. Then weekends are filled with other crap i get forced into! I wish i had some time to do something with all these random necks and bodies and timber!
  18. Sure beats the noob crap on you tube! Nice work!
  19. You pump out guitars too fast, get some nice timbers and work on getting it up to pro level. Take time to pay attention to every little detail and make everything you as perfect as you possibly can and you will see the improvement. It took me a while to realise this myself so my first few builds suffered my from my impatience, my builds now are a lot cleaner and only a few mistakes (very minor, ie - slight dents and things bodies and necks) Anyway, the green looks nicer.
