GuitarMaestro
Awesome guitar although the Warlock shape is not one of my favorites! I especially like the neck alot....looks very clean and inviting to play with the nice binding and cool inlays! Definately a GOTM canditate I would say!!!! lovekraft
Whew! An all-mahogany Warlock in (almost) Heritage Cherry with a stop tailpiece and a single humbucker... you're a man after my own heart!!
TeiscosRock
is it a special 3-and-1 4 string guitar? Don't forget to add the 2nd and 3rd strings! looks great.
eddiewarlock
Hahaha i couldnñt find any more old strings lying around! hehe i just put those strings to keep the bridge in position
Marzocchi705
One question, wheres the pots? The guitar look great, espeshialy that freatboard, ot looks great!
chunkielad
I don't do pointy but that's nice mate! Well done.
mushy the shroom
That's probably the most elegent Warlock I've seen. The fretboard looks very well done. The whole "simplicity" factor seems to tie it together, and the lack of pots helps everything. I think, if you have an amp handy, or you don't need immediate control of volume or tone or whatever, what's the use of pots?
eddiewarlock
It will have a volume pot, i just haven´t drilled the hole for it, i haven´t done any electronics for it yet Glad you guys are liking it
wyldbil
That is SWEET. I always liked a one-hum layout like that. Also diggin' the cherry over mahogany finish! So, what shape is the headstock?
eddiewarlock
The headstock is a pointy 6 in line, perhaps i should have posted a picture of the whole guitar, I´m a huge Sepultura/ Soulfly fan, so this is kinda like my version of a Max Cavalera warlock
Ledzendrix1128
Yeah, I like this guitar as well. Definately post after you get the volume pot drilled. I would also like to see the headstock too. Definately great work though! Edited October 10, 2005 by Ledzendrix1128
goth_fiend
eddie that is literally one of the nicest warlocks I have ever seen, awesome work man, do the guys @ the shredder know about this one?

TenderSurrender
Hey dude! That is a really nice warlock, I always wanted a warlock until i saw all the younger kids playin the bronze versions and it out me off. The thought, even if i had a platinum, being the same just made me cry! However your guitar has once again got me going for a warlock!! Great work dude and get some pics of the headstock... Just a guess but is the "6 in a line pointy" follow something like this? Once again killer work dude ~~ Slain Angel ~~
Guitarfrenzy
Very nice guitar bro. You said the only thing left is electronics, but by the looks at the bridge you haven't intonated it yet have you? Again, great work!!
eddiewarlock
The bridge is rougly intonated, but it is in the ball park, and Slain Angel, the pointy 6 in line for that guitar is different, yours look like a Jackson HS i should post a couple more pics today, thanks al for your comments
eddiewarlock
By the way Slain, i do know what you mean by kids playing Bronze warlocks, as it was my first BC Rich, so, i modified the hell of it : Mahogany body, neck glued to the body, single duncan distortion at bridge, grover tuners, and that HS on those guitars is the BCR pointy 6 in line http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v313/edd...warlockcopy.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v313/eddiewarlock/03.jpg

GuitarMan686
Very very nice warlock..... putting B.C. Rich to shame Love the inlays and the Sega poster in the background!
ROCKETROB
Nice job!! Really like the bound neck and inlays. The cherry over mahogany gives it a classic kind of look; very cool. How about a concentric pot for volume and tone with only one hole to drill?
eddiewarlock
Hmmm I have a question regarding paint- hope someone knowleadgeble can answer it- Well this warlock was painted with nitro lacquer, i want to take it with me to England, but of course, it will spend more than 9 hours in a plane at minus 70 celsius, obviously the paint will check, so i want to give it a clear coat with 2 part automotive acrilic, made by Nexa. The guitar was painted first with catalized lacquer, and then , on top of it, regular lacquer as it ´s way easier to buff, i have done tests before, and if i remember correctly i can apply this 2 part acrilic paint on top of lacuqer, now my question is, if i do, will the paint still check? Thanks a lot

Thanks a lot ← On a transatlantic flight the holds are all pressurised/heated these days, I don't think you'll get finish checking somehow. At least the Les Paul Standard my mate brought back from the US a little while ago didn't, and they're nitro iirc.
eddiewarlock
The was probably some animals carried in the cargo compartment, i dunno if most transatlantic flights are heated/pressurised in the cargo compratment, my girlfriend is cabin crew for japan airlines, and she said unless there are animals, they don´t turn the heat on...
