guitar2005
For the inlay, could you tell us what you used to fill the fretboard? Is it an epoxy mix? I've been thinking of using epoxy on my next project for the inlays.
Daniel Sorbera
It looks like epoxy and glitter.
araz
Hey Perry, great looking guitar I love the inlays in the fingerboard. Can you give us a quick & dirty step-by-step on the inlay... Araz Edited December 17, 2005 by araz

rhoads56
Yup, we have seen this spray gun before! Filled with the blood of virgins, massacred and strung up so they bled to death. If you need some blood, let me know, its $500 a litre. Maiden69
Very nice Perry, I like it a lot... How thin are the coats? It looks like a ton of paint! but then again if it is auto paint, the coats cover pretty good.
rhoads56
one heavy primer coat, rubbed right back, one light primer coat just to make sure its all sealed. Two of the base coat (black), which is pretty thin. One of the silver, which is actually see through prior to being 'messed up'. This leaves a very mottled finish which needs to be filled... Two coats of the candy, but i thinned it so it probably only one and a half coats. One coat of intercoat clear, then three coats of two pack )to fill the mottled effect). This week, i have to rub it back, to flatten it all out, (basically take it right back to one coat of 2 pak), then add a couple more coats, rub back again, and add one final good coat. Guitarfrenzy
SOOOOOO hard to photo this thing and get it looking like it does in 'real life' ← Yes, as I found out Red is the hardest color to capture. I never did get a good photo of my last guitar. If your guitar looks that good in pictures, I bet it looks killer in person.. Great job bro!!
