possum1284 Posted February 14, 2006 Report Share Posted February 14, 2006 hi recently acquired a prs standard 24 with a cracked neck. by the way its a set neck. the guy i got it from fixed it himself( did a bad job put so much glue the truss rod doesnt adjust anymore). so what are my options. i was thinking i could remove the frett board and fix the truss rod. What do reccomend as far as the neck actually being cracked? id love to just get a new neck. You may well be able to get the trussrod working without any structural work, and if the neck repair is otherie sound you can leave it alone.
